Following Biden Denial of Family Receiving Millions from China, Rep. Comer Demands ‘Dishonest’ Biden Correct the Record

Following a brazen public denial to reporters outside of the White House Friday from President Joe Biden that his family received $3 million from Chinese companies in 2017, a fact proven by financial documents submitted to Congress, Congressman and House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) is demanding that Biden correct the record.

According to a letter reported by Breitbart News, Comer wrote to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “Despite the overwhelming evidence, President Joe Biden continues to deny his family’s involvement in suspicious foreign financial transactions.”

He added, “President Biden’s statement was misleading and dishonest.” Noting that the committee, “received the bank documents from a financial institution pursuant to a subpoena.”

The evidence is nearly irrefutable.

As reported last week by the DC Enquirer, in 2017 a Chinese Communist Party-owned company HK Limited Energy firm sent $3 million to a company run by a well-known Biden family associate Mr. Robert Walker who subsequently distributed the funds to members of the Biden family.

NEW BOMBSHELL UNCOVERED, JOE BIDEN SIGNED OFF ON LETTER REGARDING HUNTER’S PROFITEERING IN UKRAINE WITH BURISMA

Comer explained that “Walker, who has described himself as someone who ‘generally [has] been acting as a surrogate for H[unter] around the country and abroad pursuing opportunities,’ received a $3 million payment from State Energy HK Limited, which was divvied up between four Biden family members: Hunter, James, Hallie, and an unknown Biden.”

Hunter Biden's legal team responded with a statement claiming that the payments were part of a “legitimate” private business venture.  They wrote, “As part of that joint venture, Hunter received his portion of good faith seed funds which he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved with at the time, and sharing expenses.”

If that were truly the case, then why the very public, very awkward, easily disproven presidential denial? Why invite this kind of scrutiny by denying it outright instead of explaining ‘it was legitimate'?
